RECON Strength Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
RECON Strength (“RECON”, “we”, “us”) collects only the personal information we need to respond to enquiries, quote and deliver projects, and keep in touch with clients. This policy explains how we handle that information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
It applies to information collected through reconstrength.com, our landing pages and enquiry forms, our social media and advertising, and any dealings you have with us by phone, email or in person.
What we collect
We collect contact and project details, not sensitive information. This may include:
- your name, email address, phone number and state
- your business or facility name and your role
- details about your facility, such as its type, floor area, how it is used, your install timeframe and budget fit
- floor plans, photos, dimensions and artwork you send us
- billing and delivery details if you become a client
- records of our emails, calls and meetings with you
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details. Please don’t include it in forms or messages.
How we collect it
Most information comes directly from you, when you fill in a form, email or call us, or meet with us. We may also receive it from a referrer, such as an installer or builder you work with.
Our website and landing pages use cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure how our pages and ads perform and to show our ads to relevant people. These tools collect technical information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Meta account.
How we use it
We use your information to run your enquiry or project and our business. That means:
- responding to your enquiry and booking a facility consult
- sending you the brochures and information you asked for
- preparing quotes, designs and project documents
- manufacturing, delivering, installing and supporting your order
- invoicing and keeping business records
- improving our website, ads and service
We only use it for another purpose if you agree, or if the law allows or requires it.
Marketing
If you enquire with us, we may send you emails about our products, projects and services. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing [email protected]. Opting out of marketing won’t stop messages about an active enquiry or project. We never sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with people who help us deliver your project or run our business, and only what they need. This includes:
- installers and contractors who work on your project
- freight and delivery companies
- software providers we use for our CRM, email, forms, documents and advertising
- our accountants and professional advisers
- government bodies, where the law requires it
Some of the software and advertising platforms we use are based or store data overseas, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in line with Australian privacy law.
Storage and security
We store information electronically in password-protected business systems, with access limited to the people who need it. We keep it for as long as we need it for your project, warranty and aftercare, and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
No system is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If we can’t give you access, we will explain why.
If you have a privacy complaint, email us with the details and we will respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
